If you’ve been following our Facebook page then you’ve probably seen some exciting news as of late. With the commencement of the “wine award season” there have been quite a few announcements we’ve been sitting on. It is with great pleasure that we can now share with you the awards we have been granted!
Slow Wine has awarded Tabarrini with the highly sought after Chiocciola award. Of the nearly 2,000 wineries reviewed by Slow Wine in their 2016 guide, only 188 were given Chiocciola for their outstanding demonstration of “good, clean, fair.” Furthermore, the Adarmando 2013 was again granted the the “Vino Slow” award!
That wasn’t the only good news we received; the Campo alla Cerqua 2011 awarded the Tre Bicchieri by Gambero Rosso
. This is not the first time the Campo alla Cerqua has been been given this honor and we don’t expect it to be the last. Our other finalists for the award were the Adarmando 2013 and Colle alle Macchie 2011.
Also, Daniele Cernilli from Dr. Wine
has included Tabarrini amongst the top 100 Italian wineries. This was done as part of his La Guida Essenziale del 2016. It is a surreal experience to realize how far we’ve come since Giampaolo started bottling in 1996.
Next time, keep an eye out for the review from Bibenda
on why our terroir is so special. Award season has only just begun.
