Tabarrini Travels: Asheville and D.C. 2015

Wrapping up the U.S. tour, Daniele stopped in Asheville, Tennessee and Washington D.C.. In Asheville he was greeted by fantastic food and great friends. You could say there was also a great deal of good wine…

Afterwards he made his way to D.C. where he enjoyed a variety of restaurants and good company. Whether it was at Buck’s Restaurant or Casa Luca or Pinea – there was more than enough high-quality food. Of course, we had to stop in at Via Umbria for a night with Bill and Suzy!

Actually, Daniele was able to crash a surprise birthday party “with some assistance from Chef Simone and Ombretta.” The meal featured homemade tortellini and christened Via Umbria’s new event space. Many wonderful memories and new friends were made on this tour and we look forward to our next trip. Until then, it’s back to the winery.
