Among the trials that last year brought, perhaps the worst was the loss of Tabolio from our shelves. It was a sad year when bruschette was without our extra-virgin olive oil and you had to search far and wide for something to equal its quality. However, we have had an abundance of olives this harvest.
Among our olive groves you will find the Moraiolo, Leccino and Frantoiano varietals. These are three indigenous cultivars of the area, all rich in natural antioxidant properties. Together, they create a tasty, complex and precious extra-virgin olive oil; another great tradition of the Montefalco area. Don’t get too excited, we’re not bottling three different single-grove olive oils…yet. Keep an eye out for the new release!
